Xanthogranulomatous inflammation (XGI) is a chronic inflammatory process most commonly described in the case of gall bladder and kidney. The same occurring vermiform appendix rare occurrence. Here, we describe two cases appendicitis which postoperatively histopathological examination revealed typical features XGI appendix.
